Automatic Weight Loss
If you are content with a slow but steady weight loss, it does not need to be painful or involve any hunger at all. Just pick 2 to 3 things that help you cut calories by changing habits (.e.g, replace soda with water, walk 30 min, or never eat after 6pm). A reduction of 200 to 300 calories per day will lead to 10 to 15lbs weight loss in 6 months. |

On average, an American woman loses about 8 lbs of muscle and gains 23 lbs of fat between age 20 and age 40. Even an ounce of muscle loss lowers your metabolic rate of fuel consumption. After the age of 30 there is a loss of approximately 3-5% of muscle mass per decade in physically inactive adults. Muscle loss speeds up as we get older. Weight training not only increases your metabolic rate and gives you a toned body look, it will also help you stay fit and independent in old age. |
Food Combining
It is not just what you eat. Food combining is about when you eat what. When you eat a lot of different or incompatible types of food together at a meal, you digestive system may not be able to process it and food rots in the digestive tract making you feel bloated and uncomfortable. Having fast digesting fruit for dessert after a heavy fat and protein meal is a typical example of improper food combining.
